Our junior section is thriving with it capped at 90 members currently, with a waiting list. The juniors ages range from as young as 3, up to 18, where you would then progress into full Under 19 membership.

We put in place a 3-year junior programme, which in 2025 in year 2 of the plan, was nominated for ‘Junior Programme of the Year’. A new 3-year plan has been created and will be implemented to further progress our programme and develop their skills and ability further.

We have also been awarded ‘Junior Hub Club’ status from England Golf and the Golf Foundation. This recognition celebrates our dedication to growing the game and creating an inspiring environment for young golfers.

We have a range of facilities and activities available to our junior members to get into golf and progress their game.

• Specific Academy Blue tees on the Golf Course.
• Advice and support about achieving an official WHS Handicap.
• Dedicated Junior coaching, Saturday sessions and holiday camps from our qualified PGA Professional team.

• Access to changing rooms, Pro shop, and Clubhouse.

• Regular communication on junior coaching and competitions.

*Junior Plus is available to all 7-day members, who can get free junior membership for a child or grandchild up to the age of 14.
