JOB DESCRIPTION

Following continued success and growth, we have a clear expansion program, and are creating an exciting new role

Main duties and responsibilitiesOversee all aspects of Wedding and Events planning and management, for internal and external events.

         

Wedding & Events Co-ordinator Duties

  • Creating event proposals that fit client requirements and presenting proposals by deadline.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with fellow office sales staff, food & Beverage teams, and vendors.
  • Plan all events aspects, such as numbers, timings, menus, dietary requirements, and guest lists.
  • Delegating / Handing over event planning to members of the Food & Beverage teams.
  • Demonstrating to clients strong knowledge of Brickendon Grange Golf Club. Taking clients on tours of venue possibilities
  • Coordinating event entertainment, including music, and performers
  • Staying within budget while planning event specifications
  • Sticking to the price structure set
  • Arranging invoicing, and collecting pricing according to club policies.
  • Creating comprehensive financial reports.
  • Managing and overseeing events on the day, including event set-up, problem-solving, guest welcoming, communicating with staff, and organising vendors.
  • Creating and communicating marketing and advertising on social media
  • Anticipating and planning for different scenarios
  • Collecting and publishing results of customer feedback
  • Planning multi-events using outreach, in a proactive manner, as well as dealing with all that comes to us.
  • Make sure all events are sold using full club terms & conditions.
  • Comply with company policies, rules, and procedures at all times
  • Work as part of a team and actively demonstrate a willingness to support and achieve the overall business objectivesWedding & Events Co-ordinator Skills & Qualifications

  • Sales
  • Knowledge of Booking Procedures, and Events Software
  • Attention to detail

  • Strong client-facing skills
  • Marketing knowledge of social media
  • Initiative, flexibility
  • Degree in event planning preferred.

 

This list is not exhaustive, and all personnel may be required to perform duties outside of your normal responsibilities and report to other managers from time to time

The Role will be mainly Mon – Fri. but will require weekend work.
